Invitation to Istanbul Summit

Journalist and Writers Foundation (JWF) is honored to invite you to Istanbul Summit entitled "Women's Perspective on UN Post-2015 Development Agenda" to be held in Istanbul on May 31-June 1, 2014 with the participation of JWF Women Platform and Abant Platform.

As we get closer to 2015, the deadline for achieving the Millennium Development Goals, JWF, being the first and only NGO in Turkey to hold General Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council, would certainly be in this global movement which targets a more equal, peaceful and sustainable world. Being one of our international projects that promote dialogue and coexistence in parallel with the mission of our Foundation, Istanbul Summit aims to put forward an action plan of the women’s perspective, at a time when UN Post-2015 Development Agenda is being shaped. Istanbul Summit will gather women representatives of NGOs, women parliamentarians, leaders, academicians, activists and journalists throughout the world, who work in accordance with UN Development Goals.

In order to share your opinions, experiences and recommendations regarding the UN Post-2015 Development Agenda which sets out with the slogan “The Future We Want”, we are inviting you to reserve your seats in the Istanbul Summit and to shape our future together.
