Summit Information

Registration fee: $100 registration fee includes opening ceremony and sessions attendance, lunches,break refreshments and Bosphorus Cruise event. Registration fee does not include transportation expenses or hotel accommodations. Reduced hotel rates will be available.

Languages: Please note that the working language will be in English. There will be simultaneous interpretation  (Turkish, Russian and French) on the opening & closing ceremony and sessions.  

Transportation: Istanbul Ataturk Airport is well-connected with other major airports around the world. Public transport in Istanbul comprises an extensive bus network, various rail systems, funiculars, taxis and maritime services. Refillable Istanbul Card is the official boarding pass and is accepted in all buses, trams, and ferryboats.

Currency: The local currency is the Turkish Lira – TL . Currency can be exchanged at major banks, exchange booths and at most hotels. The average exchange rate is 1 TL = $ 0.50 or 1TL= £0.36. Major credit cards including American Express, Diners, MasterCard and Visa are accepted in large hotels, car rental companies and major stores.

Insurance: The participants are expected to have and shall be responsible for their own insurance to cover expenses related to medical treatment while on travel or in Turkey when attending the Summit and/or the related events. 

Visa: Please be informed that some foreign nationals will require a visa to enter Turkey. Therefore, please apply for a visa at the Turkish Embassy in your home country. You are also highly encouraged to check the new web site for Turkish e-visa at https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/

Weather: The average temperature at the end of May through the beginning of June ranges between 18°C / 64 °F and 22 °C /72 °F.

Emergency Information: In case of an emergency while you are in Turkey, please call 112 for emergency services or call 155 for police.

Name Badges: Badges are distributed upon registration. Please make sure to bring your badge to all events and meals.
